This is a golden ale with malty aromas. The taste has malt and sweet orange notes, and a following hop bitterness. A rather light coloured ale for a typical Christmas beer but had orange warmth. Overall it tastes like a darker ale.

This brewery is based in Warrington, Cheshire.

This is the Christmas seasonal offering from the brewery based within The Brew House in Bath. It is a dark red ale with a spicy aroma. The taste is a slightly sharp start, with a full Christmas spicy and fruity follow-on. A porter style and a good Christmas, seasonal ale.

This Christmas ale is a dark chestnut, ruby coloured ale with a spicy aroma and sweet fruit notes. The taste is malty, with dried fruit  and a quick following hop bitterness and aftertaste.

A winter ale using pale malt and traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops, celebrating the Victorian postmen called ‘robin redbreasts’.
A good Christmas ale but may be a little too hoppy for some tastes.

This is a chestnut coloured ale with a sweet toffee aroma. It has a warming sweet bitter taste with toffee notes making this a good winter seasonal ale from this Stourbridge brewery in the West Midlands 5*

This is a golden amber strong ale, with good malty aroma with toffee notes. It has a strong warming flavour of malts, toffee and hop bitterness reminiscent of the lighter coloured barley wines. It is a good warming winter and Christmas ale from this Cornish Brewer based near Launceston. This gets my 5* rating but watch the strength.

This is a chestnut coloured ale with warming fruit and toffee aromas.
It has a rich malty taste with a balance of hop bitterness making this a good seasonal ale.
 
This is a good Christmas ale from this independent brewery in Lincolnshire.

This is a dark red ale with an aroma of sweet spice and coffee. The taste is immediately sweet and spicy, with hints of spicy stewed apple and a biscuity coffee follow-on. This is a true Christmas ale giving warmth and spiciness.

This ale was brewed in conjunction with Michelin Starred Chef Kevin Love. It is brewed with the addition of a special spicy mulling syrup making it a truly spicy Christmas ale.

Hatherwood Craft Beer Co. is a Lidl own label, supplying a range of craft bottled ales. This excellent Christmas ale has been brewed for Lidl by the Hogs Back Brewery in Farnham Surrey.

This is a golden ale with a malty aroma. It has a refreshing hint of sharpness with a good malty warming follow-on.
 
A good drinkable ale with pleasant maltiness but may be a little light for a Christmas ale.

Produced by this Scottish commercial, ginger based, alcoholic drinks company. This is a seasonal variation on their normal alcoholic, ginger based beer. It is a sweet golden beer with pleasant spiced ginger, cinnamon and orange-zest aromas. The taste has cinnamon and orange notes of Christmas pudding with a good ginger bite.
 
If your into alcoholic ginger beers this is a good seasonal version for winter and particularly Christmas.
